CROSSPORTS encourages its posters to abide by US copyright laws.  Copying  and pasting full articles out of newspapers and magazines onto the message board may violate such laws.  However, linking to these articles is permissible.

The CROSSPORTS Message Board is designed so that you can use HTML code right in your post.  If you want to create a link follow these simple steps:

1.   Copy and paste the following into your message:

<A href="INSERT URL">INSERT TITLE</A>

2.  Go to the article that you wish to link to and copy the internet address or "URL" (contained in the box at the top of your browser's screen) and paste it in place of the INSERT URL in the formula contained in 1 above.

3.  Put the title of the link that you wish to use in the INSERT TITLE contained in 1 above.

4.  For example a link to Bucknell's Men's basketball home page would look like this:

<A href="http://bucknellbison.ocsn.com/sports/m-baskbl/buck-m-baskbl-body.html">Bucknell Men's Basketball Home Page</A>

5.  Now hit "Send".  You should get a link in place of the above formula that looks like this:

Bucknell Men's Basketball Home Page

6.  You can test it by clicking the link before you  hit "Approve" to be sure it works.  If it does not work, check out the forumula as it has to be perfect (no extra characters, spaces and every required character and space has to be there).
